Spider Veins

Our Gemini laser works remarkably well in treating unwanted veins! The laser works by emitting a specialized light that is passed through the skin and preferentially absorbed by its target, be it an unwanted hair, birthmark, or in this case, the hemoglobin (the red portion of blood) in the unwanted vessels. The laser causes the vein to break up and disappear.

We can effectively eliminate unsightly blood vessels and spider veins to enable them to fade, slowly disappear, and finally become absorbed by your body. No anesthesia or pain medication is required and treatments are quick, convenient, safe and effective with little or no discomfort. Our advanced laser treatments allow us to deliver precise and customized doses of laser light to the targeted vein in a series of brief pulses. Normal activities can be resumed immediately after the treatment. In addition to leg veins, veins on the nose and face respond exceptionally well. We use the only TRUE LASER LIGHT technology, not pulsed light. There is a significant difference in these instruments.

The Gemini laser produces a highly concentrated beam of light that is attracted by the hemoglobin in the blood vessel. The vessel absorbs the light and is destroyed, but does not rupture or lead to extensive bruising as with older lasers. Because of our laser's deeper wavelength, the light is not absorbed by the skin, but goes directly to the vessel, allowing safe treatment of all skin types without burns or blisters.

The number of treatments varies according to the type and size of the vein. There is typically dramatic improvement with the first treatment. Additional treatments may be necessary to achieve the complete desired result.
